So I'm looking into getting an IUD. Is anyone familiar with these, had one before, or know much about them? I am trying to research a lot because there are some risks so any advice would be helpful.
I was thinking of getting one as well... had been planning on it for sometime. But one type makes your hair fall out (mostly if you have a history of it - and I do) and the other can increase the severity of cramping. And I already get really bad cramps. ... But, we'll see. I'm still gathering opinions, as well.
I had Mirena, the hormone one, in between Andrew and Bryant. I LOVED it! i never had any problems, and never really had a period! Everyone is different, but I deffinately recommend it!

my sister jill got one. as far as i know no problems. got the ten year one i think.
